Torryburn Stud is situated on the banks of the Allyn River, in the gently rolling hills of Paterson Valley near Gresford, NSW.  This district is perfect for breeding champions, as the weather is mild with good annual rainfall and the soil contains a blend of minerals that produces forage that builds strong, solid bones for excellent conformation in thoroughbreds.

Steeped in history, Torryburn Stud offers quality care for thoroughbreds through best-practice expertise, advanced infrastructure and innovative technology, ensuring all horses are relaxed and healthy at every stage of their life.

We’re proud to say that each breeding season over one hundred resident and visiting mares foal down on the property. Torryburn has grown to be a small village in its own right with most staff living on or near the stud.

We’re aware of the enormous trust placed in us by clients, and we’re determined to honour it in every thing we do. Whether it’s providing extra advice or simply spending time getting to know a thoroughbred’s personality – we go the extra mile to provide the premium care champions require.
